What The Wild Gatherings Are

Our gatherings are not just events. They are pauses in the rush, invitations to connect with yourself, others, and the land around you. Whether among the lavender in full bloom or in the quiet hush of a winter afternoon, each one is designed to hold space for reflection, conversation, and presence.

Future Gatherings

The next dates are taking shape… as soon as they’re confirmed, you’ll find them here.

I can’t wait to welcome you into these moments of pause, connection, and presence.

Gather with us this winter for restorative wellness walks.

About this event

“After the January walk, it became clear that this is work I want to keep offering — slow, grounded, and relational.”

A monthly, facilitated walk for women navigating change

The Wild Becoming Wellness Walks are gentle, curated walks in nature, created for women who are moving through change — hormonally, emotionally, physically, or at a deeper life level.

These are not fitness walks, and they’re not about pushing pace or performance.
They are facilitated, held spaces, guided by my work as a menopause coach, women’s therapeutic coach, and female-focused personal trainer.

The walking is the container.
The real offering is space — to breathe, to talk, to reflect, and to be alongside other women who understand what it is to be in a season of transition.

Sunday 15 February
Meet at 9.30am
Lullingstone Visitor Centre, Castle Road, Eynsford, Kent, DA4 oJF
Duration: approximately 1.5–2 hours
Cost: £15

Unless the weather is genuinely unsafe, the walk will go ahead — nature can be beautiful in all conditions, and there’s no such thing as the wrong weather, only the wrong clothing.

If conditions mean the walk cannot safely proceed, you’ll be contacted in advance

Why Wellness Walks?

Over the course of the day, you'll be guided through a series of grounding, inspiring, and creative practices:

So many women I work with are craving:

  • movement that feels supportive rather than demanding

  • connection without pressure or fixing

  • time outdoors that actually helps them feel more like themselves

  • spaces where they don’t have to explain or perform

Walking side by side in nature allows conversation to unfold more naturally. It softens the nervous system, creates ease in the body, and makes room for honesty — often in a way that sitting face-to-face doesn’t.

These walks are intentionally paced, thoughtfully routed, and gently facilitated, so you can simply arrive and be part of the experience.

What to expect

Each Wellness Walk:

  • lasts around 1.5–2 hours

  • is walked at an unhurried, accessible pace

  • includes space for conversation, quiet moments, and pauses

  • is held with care, boundaries, and attention to group wellbeing

There is no expectation to share more than feels right for you.
You’re welcome exactly as you are.

For reassurance, I am fully insured, first aid trained, and experienced in facilitating women’s groups outdoors. Routes and conditions are carefully considered, and safety is always a priority.

Who these walks are for

These walks may be especially supportive if you are:

  • in midlife or menopause

  • navigating change, loss, or a sense of “what now?”

  • feeling disconnected from your body or yourself

  • longing for meaningful connection with other women

  • wanting more than “just fresh air”

You don’t need to be particularly fit — just comfortable walking for the duration.

Pause In The Lavender - Summer 2025

A warm July afternoon brought friends and strangers together among rows of lavender, where conversations mingled with the hum of bees.

We shared stories, picked blooms, and let the day unfold without hurry.

Here are a few glimpses.

Who it’s for

For women (often 40+) who’ve given everything to everyone else and feel drained or stuck. You know something needs to change - you just want a steady guide and a sane way to start.

Past participants share their experience…

TESTIMONIALS

"The buzzing of the bees was like a mantra"

I have really enjoyed the time to Pause in the Lavender session.

The buzzing of the bees was like a little mantra during the session and the fragrance of lavender just overwhelmed me.

I enjoyed the breathing exercises but in particular the session about what is on your plate. It was such a visual reminder writing everything down – like putting everything down what is on your mind and allowing yourself space to think. I was so relaxed after the session and slept very well. I have popped the lavender bag in my handbag and the next day at work I sore I could still smell the lavender and thought that I was hallucinating, but just forgot I have a real souvenir from the day before.

"I left feeling grounded"

I had the most gorgeous evening at the Lavender Fields, hosted by the lovely Heather. The setting was absolutely stunning peaceful, calm, and filled with the scent of lavender in the air. It was exactly what I needed

We did some beautiful breathwork that really helped me unwind and reconnect. I left feeling so grounded and relaxed… and I actually had the best night’s sleep afterwards!
